Staff

Bro. Hodges studied with his Pastor, Gene Woods, at First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley in Colorado Springs, CO for nine years. During that time he served in the bus ministry, as deacon and treasurer, and taught Sunday school including establishing a college-career age class.  Bro. Hodges was also associate pastor for seven years.

Bro. Hodges as been Pastor at Faith Baptist since August of 1998 when he moved to Alamogordo, NM with his wife Gaye and two daughters.  Upon arriving at Alamogordo and while building the church and pastoring, he attended Liberty University's distance learning program earning a B.S. in religion.  Bro. and Mrs. Hodges have a burden for all peoples with a special place in their hearts for the military.

Testimony-" I was saved the first time I heard the gospel while stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado, in August of 1980.  Bill Montgomery, an instructor pilot in my unit at Ft. Carson invited me to get out of the barracks for a home cooked meal.  After dinner Bill asked me if I knew for sure I was going to heaven.  I said, "I hope so, maybe."  Bill showed me that I could trust Christ and call upon Him for salvation.  I fell under deep conviction and fell to my knees in tears, calling upon the Lord.  After praying, I was still weeping; but now they were tears of joy.  I told Bill that I knew without a doubt I was going to heaven.
